The 6"" octagon approx. 11mm caliber barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The barrel left flat is marked A. FRANCOTTE over A LIEGE with the crown over AF proof to the rear. The barrel features large front and rear sights. The pistol retains approx. 92% of its original bright blue with most loss being on the grip straps and trigger guard. The frame, cylinder, and barrel extension have the crown over AF inspection mark. The finely checkered bag grips are fine with areas of bruising. The swivel and ring are present. The action functions correctly. This is a super example of a rarely seen officer's revolver that would be appropriate for an French or early cartridge revolver collection.
