ANTIQUE M1879 REICHSREVOLVER MAUSER BAVARIAN UNIT MARKED
Description:
This is one of the first and most uncommon German Reichsrevolvers, made by Mauser for Bavarian Army contract, dated 1882, with only a few thousand made by Mauser, compared to tens of thousands made by other manufacturers.
This particular gun is in very good condition with about 85-90% of original dulling blue mixed with light patina remaining with no pitting present. All the appropriate small parts are numbered to the gun. Very good grips and bore with no defects. The butt of the gun is unit marked to a Bavarian Artillery regiment. Excellent lock-up and dry function.
A great example of a scarce Mauser produced Reichsrevolver.
