Description:
Extremely early M1929 Military revolver, this example the 26th revolver completed, as the serial range started with #50001. Standard features include a 4.5” barrel having a drift adjustable front sight and a fixed rear sight. “W/F” logo on left frame in front of trigger guard. Prominent cross and shield just above the grip. “P 50” release faintly struck just below the serial number on frame. Salt blue finish with all matching parts including the cylinder, cylinder pin, hammer and trigger. Unnumbered loading gate. Checkered red grips. Lanyard ring present, its retaining pin polished as pictured.
Condition:
VG+ condition original salt blue with sharp edge wear and fading as one might expect from a military pistol having seen moderate use. Small repair to the left grip at bottom rear as carefully photographed. All cylinders index properly with tight lockup on trigger pull. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A incredibly early Swiss Military 1929 revolver, the first day of production, with all matching parts and a great lock-up!
