British Mk. VI Service Revolver by Enfield (Three Digit Serial Number)
Description: Serial #443, .455 Webley, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome, 1922 dated, Enfield marked revolver has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, and cylinder with the metal retaining 95-97% of the original brushed blue finish that has silvered lightly along the raised edges and projections with additional plum-brown along the raised portions of the cylinder. The checkered hard rubber, “M" marked grips are in fine shape with some minor flattening of the points on either side. In addition to the British military acceptance marks, there are later Birmingham commercial proofs as well. The lock-up is still tight, and the mechanism functions flawlessly. This is an excellent example of a very late Mk. VI Service Revolver, made by Enfield, rather than Webley. FFL or C&R SOLD Manufacturer: Enfield Model: Mk. VI Serial Number: 443 Caliber Info: .455 Gauge Info: .455 |
