Description: Offered for sale in one (1) Lahti L-35 Finnish Pistol, serial #2637 all matching, caliber 9mm Luger, barrel length 120mm (4.72"), 8 shot magazine. Top of slide has a loaded chamber indicatior, top of slide is stamped VKT above L-35. Characteristics for this variation also include a rounded protusion forward of the rear sight on top of slide that houses the yoke locking piece, lightning cuts machined on slide, rear of the loaded chamber indicator is rounded. Condition of the gun, grips, and bore are excellent. Front sight is dovetailed and drift adjustable, rear sight is fixed. Also included is the correct original holster, cleaning rod, tool, and a spare mag. The spare mag is marked on the bottom with a "SA", this was added after I purchased this pistol. The mag in the gun does not have the "SA" mark. Both mags are bright metal bodies with a blue base plate. From "Axis Pistols" by Jan Still, on page 310 is his discussion by variation type, it follows here. This example shown is a Variation 1 which was producded from 1939-1941 in the serial range of 1105-3700. The author estimates 2,600 produced. Delivered during the March 1940-June 1941 time period. The Finns called this the "Winter War". The author goes on to explain that in Variation 2 & 3 numerous machining steps are eliminated from the manufacturing process. For sale in lower 48 states USA only. Shipping included in price. I ship through a local dealer, so once payment is received, they will contact you for the license. Or you may include it with the payment. Once received and cleared, will take to the local dealer for transfer/shipping. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
