THis is a fine example of the 9mm Danish Model 1891 Navy top-break revolver. These revolvers were manufactured for the Danish Navy by J.B. Ronge in Liege, Belgium. The 6.3"" octagon to round barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The revolver retains approx. 90% bright blue with the cylinder and grip straps turning brown. The checkered wood grips are very good with moderate wear but no cracks or chips. The right panel has a circular brass disc with 407 stamped on it and the left panel has a blank disc. The laynard loop is present. The top strap is stamped DENMARK with a crown over SA to the front. The front of the frame above the forward end of the trigger guard has the oval Ronge trademark logo. The serial number, 533, is on multiple parts. The action functions correctly, This is a great example of a rarely seen Danish Navy revolver.
