Very Good Colt 1917 US Army revolver that was Arsenal Refinished at Augusta. Parkerizing is very good. Barrel is 5 1/2 inches long and marked "United States Property" underneath, "Colt DA 45" on left side and "Colt's PT FA MFG CO Hartford CT USA" on the top. Left-side of Frame has rampant colt with spears under hammer, "AA" on front of trigger guard and small symbol with "S2C" just forward of hammer. Not familiar with what "S2C" and symbol represent. Right-side of Frame has has "S" and partial Springfield crossed cannons visible just ahead of hammer and "E" inspectors mark forward of trigger guard. Very nice smooth walnut grips that show little wear and lanyard ring on butt of grip.
