33424- EXCELLENT APACHE INDIAN WARS COLT U.S. MODEL 1873 .45LC CAL. 7 ½” CAVALRY REVOLVER MFG 1884. 100% original and all matching in the 112xxx range produced in 1884 which is the year of the Geronimo Apache War. It additionally bears the “G” stamp on various parts indicating purchase by the U.S. Government. Superb condition with approximately 80% blue with balance a dark evenly mixed patina. Frame with case hardening mixed with even patina as well. Beautiful crisp barrel address and sharp “D.F.C.” inspection stamps on the barrel, frame, cylinder and butt of the right grip flat. Original grips with all the original finish and perfect Clark and Heath Ordnance Inspector’s cartouches and “1884” date stamp. Perfect all original screws and perfect very tight working order. Excellent bore and crisp rifling. Exceptional and very handsome example. $22,500.
