Description: **SOLD** Make: Smith and Wesson Model: US Army 1917 Finish: Blued Caliber: .45acp & 45 Autorim Action: Double Barrel length: 5 1/2 inch Bore: Shiny with very minor fouling and sharp rifling Stocks: Plain Walnut Sights: Round blade front with rear notch MFG Date: 1918 Features: Concentric grooved hammer (which only came on early models) ,US Property marking, heat treated & fluted 6 shot cylinder, lanyard ring, S stamp on the barrel flat & on the frame, square butt N frame, and a faint GHS ( Major Gilbert H. Stewart) marking. Extras: None (Does not include half moon clip) Condition: The finish shows signs of age related loss as well as oxidation which is heavier on the left side of the frame. Shipping Cost: $35.00 The revolver functions as it should with proper timing and lockup. The cylinder chambers are smooth with one having a small amount of fouling. Please refer to the photos for the overall condition. FFL is required.
