This is a Great looking old Girl, She's a Belgium .44 Centaure Centennial Cap and Ball, These Belgium made pistols have become quite rare and devolped a large following both here in the State, and Over Seas. This one has the # ser of 5656, it's marked # 5656 on the bottom of where the barrel unit conects to the frame, also on the frame, the brass in front of the trigger, the hammer, and the cylnder. She has a great bore considering she's at least 50 years old, she locks up good and tight, and is super clean inside and out. She came from an Estate sale and seeing as how she has a matted target front site, and Micro adjustable rear sight, So this was someone's sweetheart for sure. She has all the correct proof marks and has the sideways " Z " which was the inspector's mark for Martin Luyten who worked from 1952 thru 1968, so she has to be a very earily one, at least from 1968 back.
