DEFARBED REPRODUCTION CIVIL WAR U.S. 1861 RIFLE MUSKET WITH FAKE RICHMOND MARKINGS. Skillfully aged metal with pitting and dark patina with lock spuriously stamped “C.S./RICHMOND” and dated “1864”. Stock crudely carved on butt “T.I.E./56TH VA.”. Probably done as a memorial to a Confederate ancestor. Working order. Colorful well done display item.
