Navy Arms/Uberti Model 1851 Navy .36 Caliber Black Powder Revolver

Offered for sale is a Navy Arms Model 1851 Navy reproduction percussion revolver manufactured in Italy by A. Uberti & C. of Gardone V.T.
This six-shot, single-action revolver is chambered in .36 caliber and features an approximately 8-inch octagonal barrel, brass trigger guard, case-colored frame and loading lever, smooth wood grips and an engraved naval battle scene on the cylinder. The barrel is clearly marked “BLACK POWDER ONLY,” and the manufacturer’s marking appears on the underside of the barrel.
Serial number 75014 is visible on the frame. Italian proof marks, including the boxed “AA” date code, are also present.
The revolver remains in very good overall condition. The blued barrel and cylinder retain a strong finish, with scattered scratches, handling marks and light edge wear. The cylinder engraving remains clear. The case coloring is still visible on the frame and loading lever, and the wood grips show attractive grain with light handling wear.
Included are the original-style box, instruction sheet, a package of replacement stainless-steel nipples and a nipple capper. The cardboard box shows considerable age-related wear, fraying and damage around the edges.
This revolver has not been test-fired by us. The bore, chambers and mechanical condition have not been independently verified. It should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith before use and fired only with proper black powder or an approved black-powder substitute.
