I am offering a pair of Colt Police Positive Specials (SN 347639, gun 1; SN 347674, gun 2) from my collection. They are not consecutively numbered, but they were both assembled in Hartford CT in 1928. Finding a pair of year-mates with 6" barrels took some time. The pictures fully represent the finish wear on both guns, which have the bluing wear and slightly aged grip diamonds expected on pre-war Colts that were run with care. Please examine the pictures carefully as I am not trying to pass these Colts off as “fresh pristine show ponies,” but they are untouched as the screws are unturned and the actions sound. I pay close attention to detail. Gun 1 has no notable issues. Gun 2 has some peppering on the grip frame under the grips. I arrested that with non-abrasive polish when I bought the gun a few years ago. Please contact me through Guns International by email if you have any questions. I would be glad to arrange a phone call to talk to you. I will ship from my local FFL dealer as required by law for hand guns and will cover that expense.
