Description: Antique Belgium 7mm Pin fire Revolver Description: Belgian-made 7 MM Pin Fire Revolver with a 3 ¼“ octagon barrel, 6-shot capacity, and folding trigger. This revolver comes with a nice vintage flap over leather holster , probably pre WWII , and the 6 rounds of Pin-fire ammo shown in the photos to display with this unique antique firearm. These revolvers were produced in Belgium in the mid to late 19th century and were popular among both civilians and law enforcement. Pinfire revolvers were named for the unique pin-shaped firing mechanism they used, which was loaded with a pin-shaped firing pin that struck the cartridge primer. Condition: 3 ¼” nice bore with some minor pitting and still showing strong rifling. Original blue finish has faded and turned to a nice antique gun-metal grey with spots of brown patina starting to form. Loading gate and folding trigger both need a small spring to hold it in place but otherwise works fine. Original Walnut grips rate in very good condition. Revolver has a tight lock-up. Mechanically works very well in single double action with very good timing. Please judge the condition form the text and photos. Today, these revolvers are considered to be collector's items and are highly sought after by firearms enthusiasts and collectors alike. Their historical significance and unique design make them a valuable addition to any collection of antique firearms. as an antique, it requires no FFL.
