This fine Belgian folding trigger pinfire revolver can be easily broken down for cleaning or repair. After the grips are removed, the button at the bottom of the front grip strap is pressed. This releases the rear grip strap which is pivoted away along with the side plate. The pistol's overall length is approx. 7.25"". The 3 3/8"" round 30 caliber barrel has a fair bore with firing erosion. The gun retains approx. 80% blue with the remainder turning plum, especially the barrel and grip straps. The left frame is marked BAYET Rpes over BREVETTE over the serial number, 349. Bayet operated in Liege circa 1885. The cylinder has the oval Belgian ELG proof mark. The checkered wood grips are fine with no cracks or chips. The action functions properly. This pretty little pinfire revolver is ready for your collection or display.
