MALTBY - HENLEY SAFETY HAMMERLESS .32 S & W solid FRAME PROJECT W / EXTRA PARTS
Description: This is a rather unique solid frame revolver made in the 1880,s.Quite a bit of great machining for the era,in that there is a lower frame, which has an upper barrel assembly which slides together. I even have an upper Parker assembly which will also slide onto the Maltby - Henley like a glove. These pieces were probably made by Oatis Smith Co.and sold under various brand names. One source says that Maltby & Henley was a distributor of arms made by Columbia Armory of Tenn. from 1878 to 1889.This Maltby & Henley is not working and also has the upper Parker assembly and many of its parts. This revolver is not a shooter and needs a competent gunsmith to repair. However there are enough screws to put together as a display piece.Working models of these revolver go for $450 to $500. I am asking $210 for everything which also includes priority small box shipping, where ever it will go. SOLD Antique: Yes |
