"Remington 1858 New Model Army Revolver (AH5797)

Remington 1858 New Model Army Revolver .44 Caliber U.S. issue Civil War period revolver. This is also known as the 1858 model. Caliber .44 Percussion. Metal parts are sub inspected and the left side grip has an excellent inspectors’ cartouche. Barrel has approximately 90% blue. Cylinder has approximately 95% blue. The frame has approximately 70% blue. The action works perfectly and indexes and locks up perfectly. This is a very fine and popular U.S. Army issued revolver.
