"Remington 1875 Single Action Revolver (AH8032)

Description:
"

Serial No. 902, 7.5"" barrel chambered in .44-40. Revolver was picked up by Victor Young in Rosebud Creek on the Rosebud Reservation in 1993. A small trace of nickel is noted on the frame. Revolver is in relic condition and action is frozen. It is noted that some Indian Police carried Nickle plated 1875 Remington revolvers. Why this was found on the bottom of Rosebud creek will remain a mystery. From the Larry Ness Collection.
