Civil War Era Remington Beals Navy Revolver 36 Cal Percussion Made March 1862
Description: Antique and fairly scarce Remington Beals Navy 36 caliber percussion revolver, 6-shot cylinder, 7 1/2" octagon barrel, walnut grips, blued and case hardened finish, brass trigger guard, single action, serial number 10785, made March 1862. Gun is an overall brown patina with nice grips and a mellow brass trigger guard. Serial number matches on bottom of barrel, left side of grip frame, and small brass tab of the trigger guard. Due to wear, number no longer shows on back of cylinder, but the action is tight, times perfectly and functions properly. All the nipples are original and in good condition. Bore is excellent, bright and shiny with only very minor black powder fouling. Barrel address only partially visible due to wear. All parts are original to the gun. Grades NRA Antique Very Good and a nice variation that you don't often find for sale. A must have for the Remington and/or Civil War firearm collector. TERMS: No international sales.
