Remington New Model Revolver

Description:
Remington New Model Revolver manufactured 1863. Barrel marking PATENTED SEPT. 14, 1858/E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, NEW YORK, USA does not include NEW MODEL establishing it as a transitional model. The cone sight is a carry-over from the 1861 model. Cartouche is visible on the left grip. Many inspector marks can be found on the metal parts.
