Serial No. 245, circa 1870's, .44 remington. 5-3/4"" round barrel. Barrel has been cut down from its original 7-1/2"" length, front sight has been put on backwards by period gunsmith. Revolver has been renickled at some point and rates approximately 90%. Bore is surprisingly very good with some surface oxidation visible but rifling remains strong. Two piece ivory grips are good with a chip noted at the bottom. Lanyard rig has been removed, action indexes correctly with a tight lock up.
