Civil war era percussion revolver with 8"" octagonal barrel, made in 1865. Has Army inspector ""P"" initial on the right side barrel flat and a ""W"" on the left side. The left side of the frame is marked with a ""G"" just below the curvature of the standing breech. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The action works properly. The grips are in good condition with a small crack in each and an indent on the left side grip. There is an old collectors tag in the form of a penny with the number ""066"". Overall a good example of a Civil war revolver!
