Remington 1858 New model army .44 (AH3778)

Description:

Remington 1858 New model army .44 caliber revolver. U.S Army issue. Action works perfectly. Bore is mint. Face of cylinder and chambers have all the original blue. Gun is unfired but the exterior blue has flaked away except for 10-15% left. Grips have an excellent cartouche. Cylinder is “18” inspected as are frame and barrel. Gun is serial #100,337 and cylinder is unnumbered as is the case with 1858 army models sometimes. More often you find a mint gun with mismatch number on cylinder. This is a very fine revolver and is unfired.
