Antique REMINGTON-RIDER Percussion New Model BELT Single Action Revolver
SCARCE .36 “NAVY” Caliber Percussion Revolver
Description: Antique REMINGTON-RIDER Percussion New Model BELT Single Action Revolver SCARCE .36 “NAVY” Caliber Percussion Revolver Here we present an antique Remington-Rider New Model Belt Revolver, made circa 1865 to 1873 in Ilion, New York with a total of only 2,500 revolvers manufactured. This percussion six-shot, .36 caliber revolver was designed for defensive carry and would have been equally at home in a holster, pocket or purse. These revolvers were made during a period when Smith & Wesson owned the Rollin White Patent. Companies like Remington and Colt were relegated to continue production of revolvers with the percussion firing system until the patent expired in 1869. Once this happened, companies lost no time fitting their percussion models with various cartridge conversions or incorporating this new technology at the factory. The later manufactured revolvers in this series had the ability to fire either cartridge or percussion cylinders from the same gun. The overall condition is good. Gray patina throughout. The action is strong. The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling. Grips are solid. Serial numbers match and the number is 317. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 6-1/2 inches. Caliber: .36 Percussion Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE. Delivered directly to your door by express mail! Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $2350 #240228 Price: $2,350.00 Buy Now Antique: Yes Contact Seller |
