CASED Pair of Antique REMINGTON ARMY-NAVY Revolver
Description: CASED Pair of Antique REMINGTON ARMY-NAVY Revolver Remington New Model Army & Remington-Beals Navy Here we present an antique Pair of Remington Revolvers, a New Model Army & Beals Navy, both made in Ilion, New York circa 1863 and 1861, respectively. These were both made during the American Civil War and would have been purchased privately for use at home or on the front line. This is a great opportunity to begin a collection with two distinct Remington models which were prized during the conflict. The Army is in .44 caliber and the Navy .36 caliber. The top of the Remington-Beals Navy Revolver is marked “BEALS’ PATENTSEPT.14.1858/MANUFACTURED BY REMINGTONS ILION, N.Y.” The Navy’s grips have been replaced with bone. These revolvers come in a custom fitted case complete with cast lead projectiles, powder flask, a bullet mold for each caliber, a nipple wrench, and percussion cap tins. The overall condition of these revolvers is good. The Army’s metal surfaces have been refinished and most of the markings obliterated. The Navy’s surfaces are uniformly dark gray. The Army’s grips have also been replaced with walnut grips. Both revolvers’ grips are in good shape. The bores are in good shape with good rifling. The actions are both strong. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 8 inches for the Army, 7-1/2 inches for the Navy. Caliber: .44 Percussion & .36 Percussion Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE. Delivered directly to your door by express mail! Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $6000 #7119 SOLD Antique: Yes |
