E.Remington & Sons partnered with William Smoot to create a number of great revolvers for the late 1800s to early 1900s. William Smoot's design was framed around the concealment needs of the 19th century; lightweight and concealable were king, and everyone wanted to get their hands on a pocket revolver. This Remington Smoot No. 2 revolver is in very good condition. There are surface marks across all surfaces of the revolver, and it has one large mark across the right side of the frame. A great piece of American history as well as our state history; William Smoot was born nearby in Norfolk, VA.
