Guns International #: 100402087
Seller's Inventory #: 1378
This gun has all the early 1875-78 characteristics such as the 1858 style post front sight, lanyard ring and most importantly, the caliber, 45, is stamped on the left grip base. As these easily wore off, the caliber was soon moved to the frame. This gun has seen very little use as evident by the cylinder ends which show very little burning. The nickel remains in at least 85% just browning a bit on trigger guard and top of barrel. Bore is near mint and gun locks up like it was new. Overall, a very nice early example in high grade and scarce caliber. Ant\ique so can be send anywhere. Serial number is on inside of grip frame, #1424. NO Mexico markings. Even the screws have some of the fire blue present.
