Remington 1875 Single Action Army
Description:
This is the very best 1875 Remington Single Action Army revolver we have ever had. It is factory Nickel plated with a 7 1/2" barrel and is chambered in the .44-40 caliber. Approximately 25,000 were manufactured between 1875-1889. This revolver retains 98% of the original nickel plating. These guns were serial numbered in batches, usually with 3 numbers. This one is serial number 886. This is most likely a later manufactured gun since it lacks the lanyard ring on early examples. It is a civilian model, absent of any military inspection marks. This revolver needs no upgrades, a spectacular example that needs to be in a serious collector's possession.
