Description: Good condition Remington Elliot's Patent 32 Rimfire 4-shot ring trigger pepperbox made in the Civil War era, serial # 20316, blued finish and walnut grips. Grips are sound, no splits or cracks, never refinished, and are original to the revolver. All metal blued surfaces have turned patina with bright blue remaining on the arm of the ring. Action is tight and functions properly. Numbers on barrel assembly and frame match. Barrels measure 3 3/8" with correct original brass front sight. Bores are average, evident rifling but also scattered black powder fouling that might clean better. Very popular early Remington "hideout" revolver that will make a nice addition to your Civil War collection. No international sales. Antique so it can ship directly to you assuming your local laws allow it. Must provide copy of valid driver's license as proof of age.
