Remington New Model Army 1858 Percussion Cavalry Revolver Made June 1864
Description: ******* SALE PENDING RICHARD IN KENTUCKY ******* Remington Model 1858 New Model Army 6-shot percussion cavalry revolver, caliber 44, walnut grips, blued frame/barrel/receiver and loading lever, brass trigger guard, 8" octagon barrel with correct 3-line address, serial number 80119 matches everywhere and puts manufacture in June of 1864, sub-inspector initials "P" and "W" found on all major components, grips worn with no visible cartouche remaining. Action is strong with positive clicks and locks up tight as a drum. Excellent, bright, strongly-rifled bore with correct front sight at end of barrel. Brass trigger guard is a pleasing, uncleaned ochre color. Loading lever and protected areas of frame have bright blue with the remaining surfaces an even plummy patina. Solid, all-original example that surely saw late Civil War use as well as time on the Frontier during the Indian Wars. TERMS: No international sales and no sales to Alaska or Hawaii. Sales to California and New York will only be shipped to an FFL dealer. All others require a valid driver's license or other proof of adult age and will ship directly to your residence or workplace.
