This is a highly desirable Civil War–era Remington New Model Army revolver with matching serial numbers and documented October 1863 production. This revolver was delivered as part of Remington’s Second Army Revolver Contract. Excellent bore and mechanical condition make this an outstanding example for collectors seeking an authentic U.S. military contract revolver with clear inspector markings and original components throughout. Includes era specific powder flask and percussion cap tin.

Inspection Markings / Proofs:

• Left side: “M” marking on barrel; “H” marking on frame forward of cylinder and below hammer
• Right side: “L” markings on barrel and frame forward of cylinder
• Cylinder  “H” and “L” markings on cylinder, "R" marking on cylinder rear
• “M” marking on trigger guard
• Additional inspection markings on bottom of barrel.
