Description: The Remington Smoot revolver was designed by W.S. Smoot and produced by Remington from 1873 to 1888, representing one of the company's successful entries into the cartridge revolver market. Named after its inventor, the Smoot featured a solid frame design and was popular as a reliable pocket revolver during the late 19th century.
This excellent example features an octagonal barrel with beautiful nickel finish and manual extractor rod system typical of the design. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips in fine condition. Retains most of its original finish and functions mechanically fine throughout. A superb example of this classic American pocket revolver from Remington's golden era.
