THIS IS AN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL EXAMPLE OF A RATHER SCARCE REMINTON 1875 MODEL, 44-40 IN 5 1/2' BARREL LENGTH. MOST OF THE TOTAL PRODUCTION WAS IN 7 1/2" AND ORIGINAL MODELS WITH THE SHORTER BARRELS ARE CONSIDERED RARE. IT RETAINS AT LEAST 95% OF IT'S ORIGINAL NICKEL FINISH. THE BORE IS VERY GOOD ANTHE ACTION IS TIGHT AND WORKS PERFECTLY. THE GRIPS ARE ECELLENT. GURANTEED ORIGINAL AND AUTHENTIC IN EVRY WAY. ANTIQUE STATUS.
