Rossi Model 971 Stainless Steel .357 Magnum Revolver w/ 6" Inch Barrel

Description:
This is a 6-shot stainless steel .357 Magnum revolver made by the Rossi firm between 1989 to 1998.  It features a 6" inch barrel with a solid rib and full length ejector rod shroud, an adjustable rear sight with a red ramp front sight, and combat-style rubber finger groove grips.  These Rossi revolvers earned a reputation for being well-made and reliable firearms that were inexpensive compared to it's competitors.  This particular example is in excellent condition overall.  The bore is bright and clean with strong rifling and and no visible pitting or imperfections.  The action on this Model 971 is perfectly "in time" and it locks up tight with no slop.  The action is quite smooth in single or double action modes of operation, and the trigger breaks nicely without too heavy of a pull weight.  All in all, this Rossi Model 971 would make an excellent shooter or backpacking gun for your collection.
