Ruger New Model Blackhawk .357Mag 6.5"bbl Revolver 1974mfg ***SOLD***
Description: ***SOLD*** Ruger Super Blackhawk New Model .357 Magnum revolver, dated to 1974. The serial number on this revolver is a bit odd, as it falls in-between the New Model and Old Model ranges, and it is labeled as a New Model. The serial number also does not register on Rugers' serial number database. Based on the serial number ranges, we can surmise that this revolver was made between 1973 and 1974. This revolver features a robust, hefty steel construction with a rich blued finish, a SA only mechanism, and hardwood grip panels with Ruger medallions. The revolver is in great working order with solid lockup and timing, as well as good bore and chamber surfaces. Some signs of regular use are present, and some areas of the frame and cylinder show signs of removed surface rust and wear, as shown in the photos. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase.
