The New Model Blackhawk incorporates Ruger’s transfer bar safety system, allowing safe carry with all six chambers loaded while maintaining the familiar operation of a single action revolver. This example is like new and retains approximately 99 percent of its original blued finish, a small scuff on the wood grip, black composit grips are included as well. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and rates 9 out of 10. The black checkered plastic grip panels remain in Excellent condition, with minimal wear and crisp checkering. Notably, the rear sight leaf has been removed, which affects the sighting system. Markings are clear and well defined, with sharp screw heads and clean pins, and the revolver maintains proper mechanical function. The package includes its original Ruger hard case, lock, paperwork, and test fire packet original manual.
