Description:
Ruger Super Blackhawk, .44 Magnum, single-action revolver with 7½-inch barrel, original wood grips, unfluted cylinder, fixed ramp front sight, adjustable rear sight, and a Tasco Pro-Class 2x22 scope. Its overall length is 13½ inches, its overall weight three pounds (unloaded and without the scope). Its weight with the scope is 3 pounds, 10.7 ounces. There are no box, papers, or other accessories include with this revolver. The year of manufacture of this gun is 1968.
The overall condition of the gun itself is 98 percent, and that is pretty good for a 57-year-old gun. The metal and blue finish are in excellent condition, with two exceptions - there is a small amount of holster rub on the left side of the muzzle (see photos), and the ejector housing has a couple of very small scratches on the left side / bottom (see photo). These high-resolution photos show scattered light, tiny scratches, particularly on the cylinder, but they are hardly noticeable to the naked eye. The mounted wood grips are also in excellent condition, with one exception - the bottom front corner of the left grip was broken and glued back on. Not sure how this happened, as it does not look like it was dropped. The only other detractor is that the barrel was tapped and drill to mount the scope. However, it was done well and looks good.
