There are lots of pistols out there to choose from.....what do you want? Striker fire? Single Action? Polymer? Conceal Carry? Do you really need a pistol that holds 700 .380 ACP's in 4 magazines and can fit into your sock? What are you going to do with that, hold down the neighborhood by plugging targets within 5-7 yards? Yeah, in the 1980's we had different ideas. For decades Law Enforcement carried a simple .38 Special, even well into the 1990's before most of them converted to semi-autos. Now, we can go over the story of the .38 some other time, but a good number of agencies over the years decided they needed a bit more POWER! This came the .357 Remington Magnum and typically in Colt's and Smith & Wesson's for issue.
