**WOW** 1931 Smith and Wesson S&W 38/44 HD Heavy Duty with 5" barrel all matching serial numbers 38 special

SALE PENDING

Description:
This is a super solid almost 95 year old S&W 38/44 HD with a 5" barrel. It's the original N frame chambered in 38 Special. It shows heavy signs of use in the finish but has not been abused with dents, dings, gouges....etc. Mechanics are pretty impressive for its age. Perfect timing on each hole and no cylinder end shake. Smooth action. Bore is surprisingly strong with good rifling and no real corrosion. Right grip has a crack but this works just fine. Really cool old school revolver.
