"Smith & Wesson 38-44 Heavy Duty Transition .38 Special (PR56747)

"

Post-war Transition double action revolver built on a square butt N frame 5 screw frame. Approximately 2500 were made between 1945 and 1950. The serial number is within the correct ranges. Has 4"" pinned barrel. The bore is has a light ring 1.5"" from the rear. Has 85% of its original blue. Later grips have been added. Overall good condition.
