GORGEOUS Antique SMITH & WESSON .32 SA Revolver
Description:
GORGEOUS Antique SMITH & WESSON .32 SA Revolver
Near Perfect Example, Nickel with Vibrant Case Colors
Here we present an antique Smith & Wesson No. 1-1/2 .32 Single Action Revolver, made circa 1885 in Springfield, Massachusetts. This little .32 S&W, 5 shot revolver is incredibly handsome. The birds head grips, beautiful nickel finish and casehardened hammer remind one of how quality guns were made. This is certainly a fantastic representative of what folks other than cowboys were carrying in the “Old West” in the late 19th century.
The top of the barrel rib is marked “SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. PAT’D” followed by patent dates. Patent dates are still crisp and clear on the original hard rubber grips as well, something that would likely have worn off that location if carried much.
Overall condition is mint. Almost 100% of the nickel finish remains. Case colors on the hammer remain vibrant and very nice. Bluing on the cylinder latch is complete. Markings are clear. Serial numbers match. Bore is sharp and bright. The action is excellent. Here is a phenomenal example of a 19th Century concealed carry weapon that appears to have been left in the safe!
Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.
