Original Smith & Wesson Model No.1 6th Issue Cartridge Revolver in excellent condition.
The cylinder and the barrel have almost all of the original blue finish intact, there is a lot of silver plating on the frame even though it tends to flake very easily, comes in the original Original Gutta- Percha embossed lid case.
An excellent antique S&W, the little revolver that started it all as this was the first self contained cartridge revolver made by Smith & Wesson (many years before Colt).
Original finish, not import marked, no rust on metal, no cracks on grips, good bore, mechanics function fine, hinges are intact.
I'm not a dealer. I'm a collector and I'm currently thinning out my collection. 3-12 months layaway is available. Can be longer if needed .
For layaway payments please use preferably personal checksas they are much easier to keep track of.
I accept bank checks, money orders and personal checks but due to the POLICY OF MY BANK it takes 7 business days from the day of the deposit for personal checks to clear.
