S&W Model No. 2 Army 32 RF Three Pin, 1861, Civil War era

Description:
This is an early S&W #2 Army 32 rimfire having serial number 8071. This was made in early 1861. This one could have been an enlisted man or Officers private purchase. Soldiers learned quickly that the quickest reload was another gun and this one had 6 shots. It retains about 78% original blue finish and the grips retain 95% varnish. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The barrel to frame is tight as new and the bore is very good bright and shiny but does have a small amount of corrosion from the black powder priming. “CAN SELL TO CANADA”
