Fine Vintage WWI Period S&W Pre-Model 10 .38 Revolver W/ Box
Offered her for sale and just acquired is a classic WWI period Smith & Wesson .38 revolver. This specimen, serial number 234704 has a 4" barrel. It comes in its original factory box with wooden cleaning tool.
The Smith & Wesson Model 10 family began in 1899 and became the standard U.S. police revolver for decades.
The specimen has a minty bore and near-perfect grips. It has nearly all of its original finish however there is one imperfection on cylinder which incurred some rust. It was carefully cleaned but patch of fine “pin-prick” pitting remains.
The original factory box is complete and matching however the cardboard insert veneer pieces were broken but all there. We have left “as is” and can glue them back on request-or leave it up to the buyer.
Complete early S&W sets are much scarcer than the guns themselves. This is a fine one.
Standard shipping is $42. however final shipping amount is based upon geographical area. Handling is $18.00 for longarms only. We gladly accept money orders, bank checks and personal checks. Credit card orders (VISA AND MASTER CARD ONLY) charged 3.95% additional for use.

- The .38 Military & Police (pre–Model 10) in .38 Special and 4-inch barrel is the most desirable “service length” barrel. This is an excellent opportunity to obtain such a vintage revolver- all MATCVHING including box with original accessories.
