This is an early post-WWII Hand Ejector, made in late 1946 or early 1947. Not a safe queen, definitely a shooter-grade piece, but overall it's in really good shape. The action is smooth, the bore and chambers look bright, and the cylinder lockup is good. No box or case. .38 S&W Special

Metal Condition: "Good, only some normal wear and a drag line on the cylinder
Wood Condition: "Good, some normal wear, no cracks or deep gouges
Bore Condition: Bright
Barrels: "Pinned-in, tapered ""pencil"" barrel.
Triggers: Double action / single action with extended target-style trigger shoe. Hammer mounted firing pin.
