Smith & Wesson Military & Police Model of 1902
This is a very sound Smith & Wesson Military & Police Model of 1902 1st Change, with the highly desirable round butt. The revolver is chambered in .38 Special and bears serial # 37633 this places the revolvers manufacture late 1903 or early 1904. The serial number is prevalent in several places on this revolver, bottom of barrel, cylinder and star extractor. The 5-inch barrel has some minor frost inside but a sound serviceable bore. The hard rubber grips are in perfect condition. The cylinder has some light frost inside, and just a bit of nickel has flaked off the side of the cylinder. There is virtually no movement in the lock up. This is still a very serviceable revolver. The revolvers double action trigger is smooth and has a nice let off as does it’s single action mode. Finish is a solid 90% original or better especially when compared to others of the same vintage. Sorry no box.
