Smith & Wesson 17-5 22 LR 6 Shot DA/SA 6" Barrel Very Good Bore
Description: The Smith & Wesson Model 17-5 is a double- and single-action revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It features a six-inch blued steel barrel and a six-round cylinder. The frame and barrel are finished in blued steel, while the grips are brown wood. The revolver operates with a traditional swing-out cylinder and is configured with a steel frame and wood grips, characteristic of the K-frame target revolvers in this series. This revolver is used. The bore condition is described as very good, indicating clear rifling and a clean interior surface. The Model 17-5 configuration includes a front partridge sight and an adjustable rear sight, a serrated hammer and cylinder release, and a grooved trigger. The hammer and trigger are case colored, consistent with factory production. The revolver’s overall finish remains intact, with only minor handling wear typical of regular use. Mechanical features include both double- and single-action operation with a six-shot capacity. Included are the checkered wooden grips fitted with Smith & Wesson medallions. No additional accessories or packaging are specified. The revolver retains its full-length 6-inch barrel and standard unshrouded ejector rod design. Serial number AYW1883 is marked on the frame. All major components, including the barrel, cylinder, and frame, are steel construction with a blued finish.
