SMITH & WESSONS No.2 ARMY REVOLVER IN CALIBER 32 RF
Description:
6 inch barrel with a bright very good bore. The barrel and frame retain a good amount of original bright blue showing some scattered flaking and light handling marks. Most of the loss is due to an area of cleaned oxidation along the underside of the barrel. The cylinder retains a little better than half of the original bright blue flaking to a pleasing gray-brown patina. The ejector rod is a smoky gray patina and the hammer retains good case colors throughout. The smooth rosewood grips are in very good condition showing a few light dings and retaining almost all of their original varnish. The numbered parts are matching and the action functions well mechanically. The No. 2 was used as a sidearm during the Civil War. A great collectable revolver!
