Gorgeous, Near New, Smith & Wesson Model 27 Revolver with 3.5” barrel, adjustable sights, factory nickel, target hammer and smooth target grips in correct factory box, Made 1960-1961.
Description:
Standard configuration -factory nickeled- S&W M27 revolver, chambered in .357 magnum, having 3.5” pinned barrel with a serrated ramp front sight, and fully adjustable blackened rear sight. “SMITH & WESSON” on the left side of barrel. “S. & W. .357 MAGNUM” on right side of barrel. Standard S&W logo on sideplate, followed by the usual S&W address under the cylinder on the frame. Color-case-hardened trigger and target hammer. Full SN on inner frame adjacent to crane and on the butt underneath the target grips. Matching assembly numbers on the crane and on the left side of the grip. The grips are two-piece Goncalo Alves smooth Stocks with a football cut and S&W medallions. Complete with factory grey/blue shipping box with correct labeling on the left side, penciled SN on bottom.
Condition:
The revolver presents Near New with just the minute handling marks on closest inspection. Cylinder ring barely breaks the nickeled finish and cartridge imprints against the recoil shield are just barely discernible. Grips are as new. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG box with losses on the left side of the lid, the penciled serial number on the bottom likely reapplied.
