Smith and Wesson Model 36 Chief's Special (38 Spl, 2-inch, Blued/Black) S&W
Description: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade with a red insert set on a serrated elevated base that is integral to the rib, which is serrated for glare reduction. The rear sight is a square-notched S&W micrometer sight that is adjustable for windage and elevation. The grips are checkered wood magna stocks with S&W medallions. There are some areas of finish wear. There are a couple of draglines and minor compressions. There are a couple of dings in the wood. The checkering is mostly strong. The bore is bright and the rifling is strong. In my opinion, this bore is a 9.5 out of 10. This handgun retains about 95% of its metal finish. There are some scattered draglines and minor handling marks. There are a few little hairline scratches and nicks. There are a couple of smooth spots. There is a faint turn line on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp to lightly used. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine Plus condition. The action functions correctly. The lockup produces minimal side-to-side movement. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards. The Model 66 is, essentially, a stainless steel version of the model 19. This example, with its 2 1/2″ barrel and adjustable sights, gives the Model 19’s balance precision and power while being carry friendly and also makes it more corrosion resistant and appealing to those who prefer the look of stainless steel. The K-Frame revolver is one of the most important innovations in Smith & Wesson history. Comes with a period correct box, missing the end label. All items are also available for sale in our brick & mortar store and are subject to prior sale. Think long, think wrong. Payment On firearms, we typically only accept credit cards or money orders/cashier's checks.
